About Pharm D.
This is six year course of Pharmacy with five years of blended academic study and training in hospital with one year internship at hospital.

Intake: 30

Eligibility
  • Students who have passed 10+2/ HSC with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) from a recognized Board are eligible to get admission in PhramD program.
  • Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtained non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
Career Prospective / Scope
Pharmacy is an established branch of science dealing with medicinal products and pharmaceuticals. Pharm D provides wide range of national and international employment opportunities in areas such as:
  • Clinical Pharmacist at Government/Private Hospitals. Clinical pharmacists are expert for the therapeutic use of medications.
  • Academics at Collage/ University level
  • Pharmaceutical QA / QC Managerial opportunity
  • Evaluations and recommendations to patients and other health care professionals within the hospital.
  • Analytical Method Development Manager in various public/ government laboratories related to the toxicology, forensic and drug analysis
  • Drug Inspector and various other posts in the FDA.
Foreign Opportunities
  1. Hospital/Clinical Pharmacist in many countries like Australia, UK, US and Gulf countries pharmacist is as vital as a physician for the proper treatment to be meted out to the patient, and a Pharm D student can grab these opportunities.
  2. Research Scientist in the process of Drug Discovery and Development in Global leading Pharmaceutical Industries.
  3. Academician in Foreign Universities.
